iPhone X Problems and How to Fix Them
The iPhone X is currently one of the most expensive smartphone available on the market. Even so, the phone is not perfect. Some users have been reporting iPhone X problems and wonder how to fix them. Here, we gather the latest iPhone X problems and how to fix them. Please note that only a few number of iPhone X have these issues.
Some iPhone X users reported that they had unresponsive display issue. They have noted that the display will often become unresponsive to touch when there is incoming call. To date the only thing we can do to fix it is by rebooting the phone. Apple’s looking into this unresponsive display issue so we should get an easier and official fix for it.
Some users have reported that their iPhone X like to pull their hair in between its bezels or the phone’s mute switch and bezel gap. The good news is Apple will apparently replace your iPhone X if this is causing any distress.
Check out a Reddit user said:
Does anyone else have a problem with their phone pulling their hair? Mine pulls my hair several times a day while it’s held up to my head. It’s really starting to piss me off. I called Apple, and they will do a replacement on it, but I am just curious if mine is a fluke or if it is a design issue.
However, not all iPhone X users experience this hair pulling issue. If you have the issue then you can try to use a case to reduce the errors, or simply contact apple to get a replacement.
Incoming Call Delays
Some iPhone X users have been reporting about incoming call delays in the call registering on the display. They said that their phone rings but nothing is displayed on the screen for a few seconds.
FACE ID Hackability
Apple claims that the Face Id on the iPhone X is safe and secure. However some users claimed that they can hack the phone with similar face like twins.
The iPhone X arrives with two front-facing stereo speakers and most users satisfied with them. However, some users reported that they had buzzing speaker issue with their phones especially when the volume exceeds fifty percent. We had such an issue on the iPhone 8 and Apple thankfully fixed it with software update so let’s hope that Apple will soon release software update to fix the issue.
Some iPhone X users have reported a mysterious green line on their display. A few numbers of iPhone X users have shared photos of the potential hardware defect across the Apple Support Communities, Twitter, Facebook, or Reddit. The good news is Apple has been replacing affected iPhone X units, according to customers who contacted the company, for free.
Please note that only a few number of iPhone X have these problems.
